The reverse of the coin depicts Krampus, the dark and menacing figure from Alpine folklore who is said to punish naughty children! Represented as a horned, anthropomorphic creature with goat-like features, Krampus is said to accompany Santa Claus on his journey and is responsible for scaring mischievous children into behaving. The obverse of the coin shows the joyful Santa Claus is symbolizing generosity.
