The reverse of the coin depicts a beautiful colored Panda clinging to a branch, surrounded by the eucalyptus forest. On top of the reverse, the inscription: "CHARMING ANIMALS" – the name of the series. On the bottom, the inscriptions: "2017" – the year of issue and ".999 FINE SILVER 1/2 OZ" – the fineness of the Silver and the weight of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the Benin Coat of Arms and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU BENIN" – the issue country and "1000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
