The reverse of the coin depicts a beautiful gilded Elephant at the sunset, over a beautiful background of a typical African village. All around the reverse, the inscriptions: "AFRICAN WILDLIFE", "ELEPHANT" – the name of the coin and "1 oz Ag 999.9" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver. The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of the Somali Republic and the inscriptions: "SOMALI REPUBLIC" – the issue country, "2017" – the issue year and "100 SHILLINGS" – the face value.
