The reverse of the coin depicts Neil Armstrong's iconic walk on the surface of the moon. The astronaut is in High Relief and the upper part of the coin has the shape of the man, while the bottom part has a circular shape. The moon and the astronaut have Antique Finish quality, the space is colored and presents many white dots, representing the stars. The obverse of the coin features the same coloration representing the space and has the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" – the country of issue, "2022" – the year of issue and "10000 FRANCS" – the face value.
