The reverse of the coin features the sculpture of Discobolus of Myron, Greek sculpture from the classical period of 460-450 BC. The sculpture shows a young man throwing a discus and is thought to be one of the best renderings of this sport from this period. This statue has long been revered as a fine example of the way in which sculpture can communicate motion and tension. The obvserse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" – the issuing country, "10000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value, "2022" – the year of issue and "999 FINE SILVER", the fineness of the Silver.
