The reverse of the coin is designed as a sculpture and features the finely-detailed masterpiece by Auguste Rodin: the Thinker. This sculpture has become one of the most instantly recognizable symbols of art in general. It depicts a character lost in thought and believed to be modeled after Rodin himself, or possibly his friend and fellow sculptor Paul Claudel. The obverse of the coin presents a beautiful geometric design with the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: "THE THINKER"- the name of the coin, "AUGUSTE RODIN" – the name of the author, "2023" – the year of issue, "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" – the country of issue and "15000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
