The reverse of the coin shows three men looking for Gold on the riverbank. The coin has beautiful colours and is shaped like a window. At the top is the inscription: "GOLD RUSH"; at the bottom: "1848 CALIFORNIA 1855". The obverse of the coin features two picks protruding behind the Coat of Arms of Cameroon and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the country of issue, "2023" - the year of issue and "500 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
