The reverse of the coin depicts Cleopatra, the last pharaoh of Egypt, at the Temple of Hathor at Dendera. She is depicted sitting majestically on her throne, radiating power and grace. As she commands the attention of all in her presence, two symbolic animals embellish her surroundings. On the obverse side of the coin, a series of embattled scenes, chronicling the fierce encounters that Hannibal and his army faced on their legendary march en route to their destination. On the reverse also the iscription: "2024" - the years of issue. The obverse of the coin shows the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" – the issuing country and "TEN THOUSAND FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
