The reverse of the coin features the Kiss of Death: the name itself refers to the infamous mafia term signifying a final farewell, the poisoning drink symbolic of forbidden pleasures and, more literally, it represents the impact of a knuckle duster. On the design of the reverse and obverse sides, the reliefs show graphic elements highlighting the dangerous nature of consuming alcohol during the Prohibition era. On the obverse, the Effigy of King Charles III, along with the inscriptions: "2024" - the year of issue, "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN 2000 FRANCS CFA" - the issuing country and face value.
