The coin's reverse depicts two endangered Giant Pandas, a lovely family with mother and the baby in their natural habitat, near the water and eating the bamboo. This scene is mirrored in the finely engraved water. The Endangered Species, Giant Panda 1 Oz Silver coin comes packaged in a rustic wooden crate coin case and printed outer packaging. On the top of the coin, the inscription: "Giant Panda" – name of the coin and in the bottom: "1 Oz 999 Fine Silver" - the weight and the fineness of Silver! The coin's obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the face value – "Two Dollars" and the issue country – "Niue".
