The reverse of each coin features a different representation of Liberty, in Ruthenium and Gold plated. The first coin issued in 1986 features the Statue of Liberty and the inscriptions: "LIBERTY" – the name of the coin, "ELLIS ISLAND GATEWAY TO AMERICA" – the depiction of the coin and the main entry point for immigrants who landed in the United States, "IN GOD WE TRUST" – the national motto of the United States of America and "1986" – the year of issue. The second coin issued in 1987 features the American Constitution and the inscriptions: "CONSTITUTION 200th ANNIVERSARY" – the anniversary of the constitution, "1987" – the year of issue, "LIBERTY" – the name of the coin, "IN GOD WE TRUST" – the national motto of the United States of America and "The People" – the ensuring words of the American amendments. The third coin issued in 1988 features the Olympic Torches and the inscriptions: "OLYMPIAD" – the Olympic Games, "1988" – the year of issue, "LIBERTY" – the name of the coin and "IN GOD WE TRUST" – the national motto of the United States of America. The fourth coin issued in 1989 features the Armed Freedom statue of the Congress and the inscriptions: "LIBERTY" – the name of the coin, "1989" – the year of issue and "IN GOD WE TRUST" – the national motto of the United States of America.
