The reverse of the coin features the wonderful image of the Libertad, alongside a cocaine powder with traces of blood. This depiction speaks of the atrocities related to Mexican drug trafficking. On top of the reverse, the inscriptions: "1 ONZA" – the weight of the coin, "PLATA PURA" – the Silver, "2023" – the year of issue, "LEY 999" – the fineness of the Silver. The obverse of the coin features the Mexican Coat of Arms, and the inscription: "ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS" – the country of issue.
