The reverse of the bar depicts The Grim Reaper, a personification of death in many cultures and religions throughout history. The concept of the Grim Reaper has roots in ancient Greek and Roman mythology, where the god of death, known as Thanatos or Mors, was often depicted as a skeletal figure wielding a scythe. In medieval Europe, the Grim Reaper became a prominent figure in art and popular culture, particularly during the Black Death pandemic in the 14th century. The Black Death, which was the deadliest pandemic in history, led to widespread fear and superstition about death. The obverse of the bar has the inscriptions: "999.9 FINE SILVER" - the fineness of the Silver, "2 OZ" - the weight of the coin, the mint emblem and serial number of the coin.
