Swallowed by the vortex of the fearsome monster Charybdis, or devoured by one of the six dog heads of the atrocious Scylla? Faced with this choice, Ulysses found himself in the greatest epic of all time, Homer’s Odyssey. Dante reserved a special place for Ulysses in his Inferno, as you will reserve a special place in your collection for this numismatic masterpiece, designed for Power Coin by one of the greatest Italian artists, Chiara Principe, and masterfully crafted by CIT and BH-Mayer with the most advanced minting techniques in the world.

This stunning 3 Oz Silver coin is the second issue from the “Evil Within” series and is dedicated to Scylla and Charybdis, two monsters of Greek mythology. The coin features stunning High Reliefs and details, thanks to the Smartminting technology, an Antique Finish quality and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 666 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts the image of a boat navigating between Scylla and Charybdis. Scylla is a legendary monster who lives on one side of a narrow channel of water (Strait of Messina, between Calabria and Sicily) opposite her counterpart Charybdis.

The obverse of the coin recalls the design of the reverse with three dog heads of the sea monster Scylla and on the top the inscriptions: “SCYLLA and CHARYBDIS – the name of the coin and “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” - the issuing country. On the bottom, the inscriptions: “20 $” - the face value and “2020” – the year of issue. Without a doubt, the coin is the worthy successor of Pandora’s Box and in fact it is replicating its success.

The first coin of the series is dedicated to an artifact in Greek mythology which seems to be valuable but which in reality is a curse - Pandora's Box. The coin features incredible High Reliefs and details thanks to the Smartminting technology, has a wonderful design and comes in a case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 666 pieces worldwide. The reverse of the coin depicts an incredible image of all the curses of the world, including demons and mythological creatures that are depicted in a vortex, as if they were escaping from their prison.
