Daydreamer – The coinCIT explored the topic of Retrofuturism in a beautiful 2 Oz Silver coin with a very intricate design and an incredible High Relief. The coin has a 45 mm diameter and depicts a man (a daydreamer) opening a curtain and thus revealing an image of the future with robots, flying cars, elevated trains and high buildings. A superb execution enhances this incredibly fascinating theme. The Reliefs on this coin, realized with Smartminting Technology, are outstanding, especially the relief of the curtain, that is neatly separated from the background, and the one of the robot on the right. But there’s more: the right part of the coin, representing the future, has a wonderful coloration in the nuances of blue. Moreover, this coin presents Antique Finish and Proof quality in the same design, creating a beautiful contrast between the two halfs of the coin and between the present (Antiqued) and the future (Proof). The coin is legal tender in Palau and has a face value of 10$. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity that lists the specifications and a worldwide mintage cap of 1.500 pieces.
