Hi dears, it’s Chiara, and welcome or welcome back to Power Coin’s blog! Did you know that Tutankhamun was only eight or nine when he became ruler of Egypt?
As King at such a young age, most of the decision-making was made by two senior figures, likely to have been Ay and Horemheb, an army commander. Why am I talking about Tuthankamun today?
Because of this real masterpiece:
Tutankhamun’s Mask.
|
How did Tutankhamun die?
Tutankhamun’s body suffered damage at various stages, immediately before or immediately after death, and for this reason, it is not well preserved. Clearly, Tutankhamun did not die of old age because his chest and legs show a very obvious damage. A chariot or hunting accident maybe? Or perhaps death on the battlefield? Others have suggested that he may have been murdered. |
The Reverse
This incredible 3 Oz Silver coin features the Smartminting technology, has an incredible Gold plating and it also has a wonderful shape. The reverse of the coin presents the incredible detailed image of the death mask of Tutankhamun, beautifully gilded. |
|
|
The Obverse
The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of Palau and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” – the issuing country, “20$” – the face value and “2018” – the year of issue.
The coin has an extremely low mintage of only 333 pieces worldwide!
Stay tuned and remember: Collect, Invest, Enjoy!
