The reverse of the coin features the Heungnyemun Gate. The second main gate of the Gyeongbokgung Palace complex is adorned with intricate decorations and richly carved wooden columns. On the reverse, also the inscription: "GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features Geunjeongjeon Hall with its steeply gabled roofs, intricately decorated balustrades, and expansive courtyard. It served as the throne hall and coronation venue of the palace. On the obverse, also the Coat of Arms of Palau, along with the inscriptions: "500 Dollars" - the face value, "Tiffany Art Metropolis" - the name of the series, and "2024" - the year of issue.
