The reverse of the coin depicts Bedřich Smetana, one of the most important figures in Czech music and is often referred to as the "father of Czech music". He was born on March 2, 1824, in Litomyšl, Bohemia (now Czech Republic), and died on May 12, 1884, in Prague. All around the design, a circual motif recalling the piano. On the obverse, the piano and a violin complete the meaningful design and, on one side, the Public Seal of Niue along with the inscriptions: "80 DOLLARS" - the face value and "2024" - the year of issue.
