The reverse of the coin depicts Charles Nicolas Fabvier, an officer of the French army. He served under Napoleon and took part in his campaigns. Dismissed from service after the Bourbon restoration, he decided in 1823 to come to Greece and assist in the War of Independence, persuading many experienced Bonapartists to join him. On the reverse, the inscriptions: "Charles Nicola Fabvier" - the officer's name and in greek "ΚΑΡΟΛΟΣ ΦΑΒΙΕΡΟΣ 1782-1855" - which translates to "Charles Fabvier 1782-1855," indicating his birth and death years. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of Greece, along with the greek and french flags united by geometric shapes, indicating unity between these two people. On the obverse, the inscriptions: "WE ARE ALL GREEKS" - a quote from P.B Shelley, "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΉ ΔΗΜΟΚΡΑΤΊΑ" - the issuing country and "10 ΕΥΡΩ" - the face value.
