STROLL ALONG THE SEASHORE 100th Anniversary Joaquin Sorolla Silver Coin 50 Euro Spain 2023

The reverse of the coin features a famous masterpiece by Joaquin Sorolla: "Stroll along the seashore". It depicts an "elegant stroll", it was commonplace on the beaches of the north, transported to the beach in Valencia. On the reverse the inscriptions: "CENTENARIO SOROLLA" – the Anniversary celebrated, "ESPAÑA 2023" – the country and the year of issue, "PASEO A LA GRILLA DEL MAR " – the name of the painting in Spanish. On the obverse, the most famous image from the Sorolla's best-known pictures, painted in a summer of great pictorial production, with marine themes, where the light, the sand on the beach, the sea water and the figures stand out, with an increasingly doughy and loose brushstroke. On the obverse the inscriptions: "EL BALANDRITO" and "50 EURO" – the face value.
