The reverse of this Silver coin features the figure of the illustrious scientist looking towards the Sun. On the reverse, also the inscriptions: "NICOLAUS COPERNICUS" – the name of the scientist as well as the name of the coin, and "5 EURO" – the face value. The obverse of this Silver coin features the entire solar system as it was known in the 16th century, along with the Coat of Arms of the Central Bank of Malta and the Germania Mint’s logo. On the obverse, also the inscriptions: "MALTA" – the issuing country, "2023" - the year of issue, "1 oz Ag 999.9" - the weight of the coin and the fineness of Silver.
