The reverse of the coin depicts an image of Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, a German physicist and recipient of the Nobel Prize for the revolutionary discovery of x-rays. On the reverse, the inscription: "W. C. RÖNTGEN 2023" – the name of the coin and the year of issue. On the obverse, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the country of issue, "2000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value, "2 OZ 9999 ARGENT PUR" - the weight and fineness of the Silver and "GENIUS" – the name of the series.
