The reverse of the coin presents an intricate arrangement inspired by the 19th-century phenakistoscope, with numerous squirrels in various positions appearing to move dynamically as the coin rotates. The squirrels are interspersed with cascading nuts, enhancing the illusion of movement and creating a mesmerizing visual effect. The outer ring is decorated with a pattern of leaves, adding depth to the design.
