The reverse of this Silver coin features Arnold Böcklin's iconic "Self-Portrait with Death Playing the Fiddle". The chilling artwork portrays the artist turning towards the viewer, a look of unease in his eyes as a skeletal figure, Death itself, plays a violin behind him, its bony hand resting on his shoulder. The obverse of this coin shows the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the issuing country, "2025" – the year of issue, "Ag 999" – the fineness of Silver, and "1000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
