REPIN Ilya Autumn Bouquet Silver Coin Belarus 2009

The rectangular shape calls to mind an artist's tableau or canvas, while the full color on both sides highlights the works of art without overshadowing them. The coin obverse depicts in the centre a fragments of Russian painter's painting Ilya Repin "Autumn Bouquet" and on the top left the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus. The coin reverse depicts on the left a relief image of a self–portrait of Ilya Repin, beneath – the inscription "I. Repin" and years of painter's life 1844–1930; on the right, the image of the Museum–Estate of Ilya Repin in Zdravnevo (Belarus, Vitebsk region), beneath, the image of palette and brushes.
