The reverse of the coin depicts the portrait of Ludwig Van Beethoven. On the left side of the reverse, the inscription: "Beethoven 250 years" – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin features a wonderful background with a piano all around the obverse. In the center of the obverse, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "2020" - the year of issue and "250 FRANCS CFA"- the face value. The most interesting part of this obverse is the innovative QR code, a surprise for the coin's holders.
