The reverse of the coin depicts the wonderful Sistine Madonna, one of the most beautiful depictions of the Blessed Virgin Maria with the Christ child and two winged cherubs rest on their elbows at the foot of the picture. All around the reverse, the inscriptions: "RAFFAELLO SANZIO" - the name of the artist and "1483-1520"- the date of birth and death. The obverse of the coin features the Cameroon Coats of Arms. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" - the issuing country, "2020" - the year of issue and "500 FRANCS CFA"- the face value.
