QUADRIVIUM 2 Oz Silver Coin 2000 Francs Cameroon 2022

The reverse of the coin depicts four women in a medieval castle, each one representing one of the four muses of the Quadrivium. The Quadrivium is a system of education based on four pillars corresponding to contemporary arithmetic, geometry, astronomy, and music. The women wear typical medieval dresses and are associated with a symbol of the science they represent. At the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: "Quadrivium" – the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin presents a concentric pattern with a medieval theme and the inscriptions: "RHETORICA", "DIALECTICA", "ASTRONOMIA", "MUSICA", "GEOMETRIA", "ARITHMETICA" and "GRAMMATICA". In the inner circle, the inscriptions: "TRIVIUM QUADRIVIUM" and "Septem Artes Libertales". At the center of the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Cameroon and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the country of issue, "2022" – the year of issue and "2000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value of the coin.
