Description

The reverse of the coin commemorates the Roswell UFO incident, which refers to an event that occurred in July 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico, in which a flying object crashed on a ranch! The Roswell UFO incident remains one of the most famous and debated cases of ufology. The design, with a wonderful emerald green coloration, celebrates the event depicting two aliens and the UFO. On the obverse, the coin resembles a UFO with a peculiar coloration, along with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the country of issue, "2000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value, "2024" – the year of issue, "2OZ" – the weight of the coin and "Ag 999" – the fineness of the Silver.
