Description

The reverse of the first coin has a pūhoro motif, that surrounds Tangaroa making reference to his ability to control the tides and waves. The reverse of the second coin the pūhoro design traditionally refers to speed and agility, depicting the cutting or rippling effect of the water or waves when a waka travels. All around both reverses, the inscriptions: "ONE DOLLAR" – the face value, "KOTAHI TĀRA", "TANGAROA" – the name of the coin and "GUARDIAN OF THE OCEAN" – the name of the series. The obverse of both coins depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "NEW ZEALAND" – the issue country, "2021" – the year of issue and ".999 Ag 1 oz" – the fineness of the Silver and the weight of the coin.

Items on “pre-order” are coins that are not in stock at the moment of purchase. The estimated availability date is indicated on the product page and may change for reasons beyond our control. Payments of pre-orders are due at checkout to ensure the best price and a prompt shipment of the order as soon as the coin is in stock.

When ordering a pre-sale product, you commit together with Power Coin to the total order quantity placed with the producing Mint, therefore all canceled pre-sale orders will be charged with a 5% cancellation fee.

How does the Loyalty Program work?

For every order placed on our website, Power Coin rewards you with loyalty points up to a maximum of 1000 points per order. Loyalty points are valid on your account for six months since order date and can be converted into a voucher. The voucher generated is valid for seven days, hence make sure to convert your loyalty points when you are ready to place a new order. Expired points and/or vouchers cannot be reinstated. If you cancel an order, loyalty points earned and/or used with it will be lost and cannot be reinstated.
