The reverse of the coin features a frightening scarecrow with a sinister grin, its eyes and mouth glowing red in the dark. It was rumored to be possessed by the spirit of a vengeful farmer who had been wronged by the village. The scarecrow's purpose wasn't just to protect the crops but to exact its silent revenge by instilling fear. The obverse of the coin features a skeleton with glowing green eyes in the dark, surrounded by creepy figures resembling rag dolls. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the issuing country, "2 oz Ag 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of Silver, "2000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value, and "2025" – the year of issue.
