The reverse of the coin depicts "The Zoo", one of the rocks of the Abourma Rock Art site. This superb archaeological site features well-preserved rock engravings dating back to Neolithic times, which are striking both for their rich complexity and their incredible variety. Many of the engravings depict animals that are no longer found in the area – giraffes, cows, antelopes, kudus, oryxes and ostriches. Human figures are also represented. The design also incorporates the inscriptions: "ABOURMA ROCK ART SITE" – the name of the coin and "2023" – the year of issue. The obverse of the coin features images of prehistoric people carving rock art and painting cave paintings, surrounded by various prehistoric art of various places around the world. At the bottom, the inscription: "Prehistoric Art" – the name of the series. The design includes the Coat of Arms of Djibouti and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DE DJIBOUTI" – the country of issue, "200 FRANCS" – the face value and ".999 Ag 93.3 g" – the fineness of the Silver and weight of the coin.
