The reverse of each coin portrays different iconic Australian animals. The Kangaroo coin features a kangaroo with a joey in a grassy landscape with a setting sun in the background. The Koala coin shows a koala clinging to a eucalyptus branch, with leaves and a background indicative of its natural habitat. The Quokka coin depicts a quokka holding a small branch, surrounded by detailed elements of its environment. The designs also feature the inscriptions: "KANGAROO," "KOALA," and "QUOKKA," respectively, along with "1/2 Oz 999 AG" – indicating the weight and fineness of the Silver.
