The reverse of this Gold coin is highlighted by the crowned portrait of King Charles III, set above a depiction of the Imperial State Crown. The reverse also features the portraits of his twelve predecessors, from Queen Anne to Queen Elizabeth II. This includes all six monarchs from the House of Hanover – George I, II, III & IV, William IV and Queen Victoria – as well as Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII & George VI. Notably, the depictions of all Charles’ predecessors are based on original coinage portraits. On the reverse, also the inscription: "MONARCHS OF BRITAIN" - the name of the coin. The obverse of this Gold coin features the effigy of King Charles III, along with his predecessors. On the obverse, also the inscriptions: "CHARLES III" - the name of the King, "2024" - the year of issue, "1 oz 9999 FINE GOLD" - the weight of the coin and the fineness of Silver, and "100 DOLLARS" - the face value.
