Reverse: The three sides of the reverse depict effigies of three great pharaohs of the fourth dynasty – Khufu, Khafra and Menkaure. The forth side shows decorative elements characteristic for Ancient Egyptian times, taken from the tomb of Queen Hetepheres (Khufu's mother) and the statue of Nofret. Obverse: In the central part of the coin – the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On the right – the mint mark (m/w). Along the rim – inscriptions: NIUE ISLAND (the issuer), 2014 (the year of issue), 15 DOLLARS (the face value), the hallmark – Ag 999 and the name of the coin: THE GREAT PYRAMIDS.
