The reverse of this coin has a variety of details and features a biblical scene of the three Wise Men following the Star of Bethlehem. In the centre of the reverse design a five pointed star, handmade in silver filigree. The capsule with the five pointed star, can be seen also on the obverse face. On the top of the coin, the inscription: "Approach Of The Wise Men" – the name of the coin. The coin's obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "Niue" – the issue country, "2016" – the issue year, "2 Dollars" - the face value and "1 Oz .999 Silver" – the weight and the fineness of Silver, and the same capsule with the five pointed star, on the top of the obverse.
