The reverse of the coin features some of the most beautiful plants and most well-known animals of Australia, followed by the Territory of belonging inscriptions: "NEW SOUTH WALES", "NORTHERN TERRITORY", "AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY", "VICTORIA", "QUEENSLAND", "TASMANIA", "NORFOLK ISLAND", "SOUTH AUSTRALIA" and "WESTERN AUSTRALIA". All around the reverse, the inscriptions: "FLORA & FAUNA" and "EMBLEMS OF AUSTRALIA". The obverse of the coin portrays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "NIUE" – the issue country, "2017" – the issue year, "TEN DOLLARS" – the face value and "5OZ 999 SILVER" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver.
