The reverse of the coin features a beautiful and coloured image of the first man landing on the Moon from the famous Apollo 11, surrounded by 50 stars representing the years of anniversary. On the center of the reverse, the inscriptions: "50 YEARS MAN ON THE MOON ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND" – the name of the coin and "1969-2019" – the years of anniversary. The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II surrounded by the lunar surface and the footprint of the astronaut. All around the effigy, the inscriptions: "SOLOMON ISLANDS" – the issue country, "5 DOLLARS" – the face value, "2019" – the year of issue, "50g Ag 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver and "ELIZABETH II" – The name of the Queen.
