MAYFLOWER 400th Anniversary Convex Silver Coin 5$ Solomon Islands 2020

The reverse of the coin features a beautiful and coloured image of the famous Mayflower ship that transported the first english Puritans, known today as the Pilgrims, from Plymouth. In the middle of the reverse, the inscriptions: "400 th ANNIVERSARY - the years of anniversary, "The Mayflower" – the name of the coin and "1620-2020" – the years since the event. On the top of the reverse, the inscription: "THE NEW WORLD". The obverse of the coin represents a map with a ship and the journey of the Pilgrims from Plymouth to Cape Cod. In the middle of the obverse, features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. All around the effigy, the inscriptions: "SOLOMON ISLANDS" – the issuing country, "5 DOLLARS" – the face value, "50g Ag 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver, "2020" – the year of issue, and "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen. On one side of the obverse, the inscription: "PILGRIM QUARCENTENARY" to celebrate the Anniversary of the Pilgrims.
