The reverse of the coin depicts an image of the Mahabodhi Temple. It is a Buddhist temple complex in Bodh Gaja, Bihar, in northern India. On the background, there is a phenomenal Wind Palace. On the reverse, the inscription: "INDIA" - the name of the coin. On the obverse, the effigy of Her Majestic Queen Elizabeth II with Fort Amber, a complex of defensive and palace buildings and the inscriptions: "2 DOLLARS" - the face value, "ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen, "NIUE 2020" - the issuing country, "Ag 999" - the fineness of the Silver and "IMPERIAL ART" - the name of the Series.
