UNKNOWN SOLDIER by Miles Standish 5 Oz Silver Coin 25$ Cook Islands 2022

The reverse of the coin features an image of some soldiers commemorating all soldiers killed in war. The ceremony is withheld at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, shown in the background. On the side of the tomb, the inscription: "HERE RESTS IN HONORED GLORY AN AMERICAN SOLDIER KNOWN BUT TO GOD". On the top of the reverse, the inscription: "HONOR GUARD", "TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER" and "2022" – the year of issue. At the bottom, an eagle with the inscription: "MS" – Miles Standish's initials. The obverse of the coin depicts the front of the monument with three figures representing Peace, Victory and Valor. In the background, the Memorial Amphitheater. On top of the reverse, the inscription: "TOMB OF THE UNKNOWN SOLDIER"; at the bottom, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "COOK ISLANDS" – the country of issue and "25 DOLLARS" – the face value.
