Description

The reverse of the coin represents the logo of AC/DC, the Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. The band is best known for their powerful and energetic live performances, as well as their distinctive sound, consisting of hard-driving guitar riffs, powerful drums, and frontman Brian Johnson's distinctive vocals. The obverse of the coin depicts the Effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" - the name of the Queen, "1952-2022" - the duration of the reign, "AUSTRALIA" - the issuing country and "2023" - the year of issue.
