The reverse of the coins features features a magnificent Rooster with an obscure cockscomb engraved in the background. On the left of the reverse of both coins, the inscription: "丁酉" – Rooster in Chinese characters. On the bottom of the Silver coin, the inscription: "10元" – the face value and on the Gold coin, the inscription: "150元". The obverse of the coin depicts the Coat of Arms of China and the inscriptions: "中华人民共和国" – the issue country and "2017" – the year of issue.
