CREATION OF ADAM Micropuzzle Treasures Special Edition 5 Oz Silver Coin 20$ Palau 2023

The reverse of the coin is a reproduction of the worldwide famous "Creation of Adam", a fresco painting by Italian artist Michelangelo which is part of the Sistine Chapel's ceiling. The scene illustrates God, on the right, reaching out and almost touching the finger of Adam to give him the gift of life. God's and Adam's fingers are at the center of the design and serve as the focal point of the scene, which is also accentuated by the circular puzzle motif directing the gaze to the center. The design features three levels in relief: the base, the puzzle and the missing pieces of the puzzle, that lay on top of it. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: "2023" – the year of issue. The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of Palau, surrounded by a beautiful decorative micropuzzle pattern. All around the obverse, the inscriptions: "MICROPUZZLE SPECIAL", "REPUBLIC OF PALAU" – the issuing country and "20$" – the face value. Each coin is individually numbered on the rim.
