The reverse of the coins are designed to fit together to form a single circle. Shaped in the traditional Chinese yin form, the first coin features a stylized Koi Fish with traditional auspicious cloud motifs from Chinese art. The second coin is shaped in the traditional yang form and features a flying Sparrow. The obverse of each coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "D.G. REGINA" – Dei Gratia Regina, "10 DOLLARS" – the face value, "200 DOLLARS" – the face value "CANADA" – the issuing country and "2019" – the year of issue.
