Description

The reverse of the coin depicts one of Alan Turing inventions. As the father of modern computing and a codebreaking genius during the Second World War, Alan Turing was a truly extraordinary individual. His groundbreaking theories remain revered to this very day, which suggests he was a genius way ahead of his time. In recent years, Turing has become a figurehead for gay rights following his posthumous pardon from Her Majesty The Queen in 2013, which has since led to further pardons to gay men and created what's become known as ‘Turing's Law'. The reverse also includes the inscriptions: "ALAN TURING". The obverse of the coin features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen, "D·G·REG·F·D" – the Latin acronym that stands for: Dei Gratia Regina Fidei Defensor, "50 PENCE" – the face value and "2022" – the year of issue.

When ordering a pre-sale product, you commit together with Power Coin to the total order quantity placed with the producing Mint, therefore all canceled pre-sale orders will be charged with a 5% cancellation fee.

How does the Loyalty Program work?

For every order placed on our website, Power Coin rewards you with loyalty points up to a maximum of 1000 points per order. Loyalty points are valid on your account for six months since order date and can be converted into a voucher. The voucher generated is valid for seven days, hence make sure to convert your loyalty points when you are ready to place a new order. Expired points and/or vouchers cannot be reinstated. If you cancel an order, loyalty points earned and/or used with it will be lost and cannot be reinstated. Loyalty points are not combinable with other discount codes - but are still applicable to already discounted coins (for example coins on promotion).
