Zebra is the first coin in Power Coin's brand-new "Camouflage of Nature" series.

We have long planned to launch a new series involving animals and nature, but we wanted to combine this topic with something fresh and distinctive. Our new 3 Oz Silver coin Zebra is the result of extensive research and brainstorming sessions, aimed to issue a coin that would stand out among the others.

With a diameter of 45 mm, the reverse of the coin features a hypnotizing pattern made up of hotizontal black and silver lines creating a mesmerizing three-dimensional effect. This particular pattern also produces the optical illusion of movement: if you stare at the coin for a while, the lines will look like they are moving!

Zebra – The coin

A lovely zebra in Smartminting Ultra High Relief breaks up the pattern, both merging with and contrasting against the background.

Depending on your imagination, the animal may be walking across a field of tall grass or water and creates a concave trail as it moves.

The reverse lacks any inscriptions other than the year of issuance, as the design was kept as neat as possible.

The coin's obverse, which brilliantly captures the series' theme of “Camouflage of Nature”, is also quite creative. The design has an abstract pattern at the bottom that transitions into an animal print pattern at the top. The coin has a 499 piece maximum mintage and is legal tender in Palau.
