Since the big success of this silver coin, it has been remade in a gold version: 1 Oz Gold coin that depicts the Redback Spider, recognized by a spherical black body with a prominent red stripe on the upper side of the abdomen.
The reverse of the coin depicts the incredible colored image of a Redback Spider while stretching a spider web.
On the left of the reverse, the inscription: “RED-BACK SPIDER” – the name of the coin.
The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “NIUE” – the issuing country, “2018” – the year of issue, “100 DOLLARS” – the face value and “1OZ 9999 GOLD” – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Gold.
